When to send it
Send the request after the work is complete and the customer understands the result. For emergency calls, it can be better to wait until the immediate stress has passed rather than asking while the customer is still dealing with cleanup or damage.
A few things that help
- Reference the completed plumbing job so the message feels personal.
- Keep the request to one action: leave a review.
- Use a direct Google review link.
- Ask for an honest review rather than a specific star rating.
- Do not send the request while a complaint, leak, billing issue, or callback is unresolved.
